It doesn’t get much better than this… My girl crush – Jennifer Lawrence – rocked this Dior Haute Couture gown at the Oscars last night. The entire look was flawless, from the makeup, the hair, the jewels….Perfection!
I love getting Lisa Ho emails, there’s always something in them that I want to buy! Last week was no exception: the Bridal Boutique edition! Featured within were Lisa Ho’s latest collection of Bridal wear, and got bit a little bit excited! My favourite one was the peplum style silk taffeta strapless gown, it’s very on trend for this season and reasonably priced at $1,999! This simply beautifully crafted silk tulle bodice and low neckline creates an elegant and classic gown. This more elaborate gown is also among my favourites, with it’s intricate hand sewn sequins and delicately frayed georgette to finish off this stunning gown. Check out Lisa Ho’s website for more info.
Introducing a beautiful new gown from one of my favourite designers, Karen Willis Holmes. From KWH Blog: The stunning Clementine Gown is draped in a very flattering silky tulle fabric, giving this bridal dress a simply divine and ethereal touch. The bodice is embellished with a floral inspired diamante embroidery detail and finished on the waist to accentuate the area. This gown would suit an outdoor vintage inspired wedding or even a classy affair indoors. KWH also have an upcoming event for brides across the East Coast of Australia, not to be missed! I am completely obsessed with Sarah Seven…her collections are flawless! A boutique American designer, there are a few places we can find her treasures in Australia, but they are few and far between! Hopefully one day there will be a flagship store in Australia from this beauty! A few sneak peek snaps of the newest collection, all the way from the USA. Credit to Matthew Moore for the photography. I am absolutely loving the notion of a gold wedding dress, what do you think?!
You guys have been absolutely loving Pallas Couture of late…So I know you’re just going to love this too! Sneak peek from Pallas Couture’s shoot in the USA with Sheridyn Fisher modelling their “Fantasia” gown.
I love being inspired by such beautiful designers; and Jim Hjelm is no exception. Designed by Francesca Pitera, Jim Hjelm features gowns that satisfy the most discerning bride. The designer is best known for unique detailing and combining luxurious fabrics with delicate embroidery. Taken from JLM Couture website, ‘Francesca feels these details are important because they “add unique and special touch to the gowns.” The Jim Hjelm collection is diverse; ranging from gowns made of vintage-inspired fabrics to modern silhouettes, all with gorgeous details that make the gowns a joy to wear.’ Featuring some stunning pieces this season, take a look at the latest from this beautiful collection.
