Rather than creating a big ‘to do’ list that can be quite overwhleming, we recommend breaking things down into the areas that are top priorities: the invitations and stationery, the cake, your ceremony & reception, your dress & your ‘maids dress, flowers and of course, the photography. What a gorgeous group of ladies! I particularly love this mismatched ensemble that keep in theme with the bride’s ivory. The unique champagne theme dresses are perfectly matched with their own custom bouquet – fabulous! I just love the individuality of each dress, teamed with it’s own accessories and flowers, it brings such a uniqueness to the group but manages to thread them all together. This is certainly one the most beautiful bridal parties I’ve seen with such attention to detail. For a feature of the full wedding, check out Kristen Gardner’s blog. Kristen certainly captured Kathleen & Jon’s day impeccably, what a way to reflect on your wedding!
I love the idea of wedding guests getting involved at the wedding. Photo booths have been a long popular way of capturing the moment visually and a take-home for the guest. One idea that I definitely hope to have at my own wedding! It’s such a nice way for guests to mingle and engage with each other, plus you get all the photos instantly! I came across a few great ideas recently, and this one from Style Me Pretty is my fave. Easy to hang up in an area of your choice, and a momento with the date specifics that looks like a polaroid. Love it! This one I found via Pinterest and don’t have an original source, but I… Read More →
I came across this wedding after finding this photo on Pinterest and falling in love with the pink and white striped bridesmaid outfits! I loved that they weren’t actually dresses but done beautifully with the golden neutral tshirt style to complete the outfit and match the bride. After trying to find the photographer of this image to see more photos of the gorgeous bridesmaid dresses, I came across their story. Emi & Chase have a dedicated site that tells the stories of their lives together, including their beautiful wedding photos! But I’m here to focus on the bridesmaid dresses, because I was instantly drawn to how different these ensembles were and loved the touch of pink! Highly recommend checking out… Read More →
